Fishing Licence Fees for Lake Tanganyika (Revision)

Summary

  • Over time the nature of fishing on Lake Tanganyika fishery has changed. There is a proliferation of small and medium fishing companies with a catching capacity equal to what the Department has previously licensed as fishing companies. There is need to revise the licence fee in order to prescribe appropriate fees for the Tanganyika fishery.
